Bing is not so Bing

With its release and a lot of bucks to promote, Bing is making quite a news for a while. This is the first time in my entire life(actually 25 yrs.), Microsoft has come close to compete with Google.

Bing has several cool, nifty and useful features, especially that orange dot(which provides quick preview of the link). And I liked those background pictures too.

So today I started searching from Bing, it worked nicely for me and I was about to say good bye to Google. But suddenly something happened which bugged me.

Being a pervert myself, I usually look for adult content (OK, it is PORN). So I tried for few keywords like sex, fuck, porn etc. and Bing said "The search sex may return sexually explicit content. To get results, change your search terms.".

It was annoying and frustrating, I tried few more times whole day, but no success. Then later in the evening I tried for some other keywords like bomb, missile, poison etc. and they all generated results.

Microsoft
with all this no-sexual-content-search trying to establish an image of "clean and socially responsible search engine" for Bing. This may fetch them few overly unsexual customers but will hurt them in long run.

How come you be socially responsible if your search engine gives result for a query like "How to make bombs", but no result for "How to have sex".

Microsoft; don't hate sex, it's good(actually great).
